++ALIN'S WEDDING++

Finally, my bestest of friend a.k.a cousin finally weds the man of her dreams on 17 Aug 2007. Congrats to both of them!! So happy for you Alin!! The akad nikah took place at her home in Setapak on 17 Aug 2007. Most of it were last min preparation. I had to work that day. On my way home, Alin called me to buy her shoes for that nite bcos she forgt about it. So Atih, K Ary & me rushed to Alpha Angle to buy her shoes. Lucky we reached home on time just before the akad nikah started. During akad nikah, everything went smoothly.

On the next day, the 'bersanding' took place at Dewan Anjung Rahmat near Jalan Gombak. Mmg kelam kabut due to so many miscommunication. But th wedding was quite grand. We were welcomed by a silat performance. During the wedding reception we were entertained by a group of cak lempong, a Malay traditional performance specially brought from Negeri Sembilan.

We also had a wedding reception at the groom's side on 19 Aug 2007 at Section 19 of Shah Alam. When we reached there, the rain started pouring but only for a few moments. But at Shah Alam, it was so noisy bcos ade sessi karaoke laa plak... huhu

People thought that I would be so sad & feel isolated bcos Alin & me are very very very close. But the truth is, indeed I feel sad bcos sthat I would be left alone but I'm happy that she's married now. At least there would be someone who will take care of her. Though all of us were very tired, we were happy & hope their wedding will last till death do them part huhu... Good luck Alin & Hilmy!!!
