++IF I WERE A BOY++

On my home from work, I listened to this new single by Beyonce Knowles, If I Were A Boy. I love this song the minute I heard it. The song is so sweet. It's about a girl wanting to be a boy and changed whatever girls hate about boys.

When I was younger, I am quite boyish, 'tomboy' as my Amak said it. I talked loud like a boy. If I were at my kampung, I used to climb up trees with my brothers. I also went fishing with my cousin at a river near my Wan's house. I always helped my Abah washing the cars, carrying big load (even though I was so short...huhu). I wore only jeans, pants & shorts, never liked skirts or dresses. I only agreed to wear baju kurung because it is our traditional costumes. My cousins & my siblings always hid behind me when we were watching any horror movies or X-Files. I even played football. I went cycling around with my best friend like we were police on patrolling or something. I think I did most what boys did at that age. I even listened to hard core music such as Disturbed, SOAD, RATM, Nirvana etc.

As I grew older, I think my feminie side eventually came out. I think maybe because I started to wear tudung. Then I slowly began to learn to be a little bit ladylike. Gossiping, shopping, checking new fashions & all those girls stuff. Still, my friends say I'm quite 'ganas' for a girl but I think it is okay. Nowadays I couldn't go out without any make-up on..huhu
