++THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON++

When I was watching Twilight for the second time, there was an image of Brad Pitt in some movie trailer which made me suddenly remember that last week I watched a trailer of his new upcoming movie, I think it will be released out around next year in Malaysia, 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'.

I actually meant to know more in depth of this movie but then I found this movie was adapted from a book with the same title by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The synopsis is very interesting. It took my breath away...huhu.. It is about Benjamin Button, who lived his life backwards unlike us, the normal people. The story was set around the era of World War 1. When he was born, he was already in his eighties. As he was growing up, he was actually aging backwards. He became younger and younger until he was just a baby and later died. The book mainly discussed how Benjamin Button was adapting to his new 'backwards life'.

The movie, though not yet released, received many nominations from various organizations, 8 nominations in Broadcast Films Critics, 5 nominations in Golden Globe Awards and 4 in Satellite Awards. The film already won 2 awards for best director and best adapted screenplay in National Board of Review. The movies surely is an awaited movie for most people. It is not only because of Brad Pitt, but as well as the screen play.


I am so captivated by only reading these articles of Benjamin Button. This would make me hunt the book after I have got my salary end of this month and also looking forward for the release of the movie.. :)
